What is the impact on processor load converting say a originally recorded 24 bit sample to 16 bit?

Hello,

What is the impact on processor load converting say a originally recorded 24 bit sample to 16 bit?

Bit-rate conversions are performed during the initial first loading cache process, thus there are not any extra performance overheads while playing in real time since the samples have already been converted prior to the organ launching.

I hope that helps.
