Conditions for submission to Contre Bombard Concert Hall?

PostMon Jul 19, 2010 9:09 am

Could someone advise me on the policy for sumissions to the Contre Bombarde concert hall? I've got two pieces I've written for organ recorded, but they're sequenced rather than performed. I'd love to get some feedback on them, but I don't know whether I can submit them or not. They're performed on the PAB, but they're too hard for me to play at the moment, so I had to write them out / sequence them. Could someone let me know?

If anyone's interested the links to the two pieces are currently hosted on my website:

Edit: Links below changed to point at tracks uploaded on Contre Bombarde Concert Hall.

Thanks in advance,

Adam.

Hi, Adam. Sequenced submissions are fine as long as you use Hauptwerk to generate the audio. There is an option at submission time to specify it is a MIDI performance. I look forward to hearing your compositions.

Clinton,

Many thanks for your advice - I've joined the CBCH this morning and have uploaded a couple of tracks under the username Rauschpfeife. I'm going to update the thread above to point to the tracks I've uploaded.

Adam.

Hi Adam,

Clinton is exactly right in his advice (Thanks Clinton).

I also wanted to thank you especially for posting your own compositions on Contrebombarde.com. You and a few others have done that and it's a great pleasure for us to host those and make them available to many ears.
