Contrebombarde and Iphone

PostWed Jan 19, 2011 3:34 pm

I have recently been fortunate enough to aquire an Iphone. I love it but unfortunately cannot stream from contrebombarde using the dew player, this is because Iphones do not support flash and dewplayer is a flash mp3 player. Has anyone found a way around this?

Clicking on the download link starts streaming on the iPad. I don't know if it works on the iPhone, though.

Your holding it wrong - just hold it differently - it will be perfect then

Well they both run exactly the same operating system software, so if they do behave differently I'll be very surprised.

I have no problem playing the mp3 files downloaded on my 3G (which I am also using to write this reply).

Downloading the MP3s and playing them on the iPhone should not be a problem but streaming them to the iPhone with a Dew player doesn't work. In fact on my 3G the Dew Player doesn't even show up. But when I touch the word Download it begins streaming that selection to my phone. Probably can't 'play all' but it appears you can download them one at a time.

I hope I didn't offend anybody with my poor attempt at humour in my post above... Everybody has their own tastes and needs from a cell phone, and the iphone definitely satisfies many people as can be seen by the sales numbers.

I'm offended! Not really. We Apple users are a sturdy lot. (not to be confused with nerdy!)
Not only do I stream the selections from ContreBombarbe on my Iphone, but when in the car (Ford Fusion) I can stream it via bluetooth to the car sound system! I wonder what people think when they hear various Pipe Organs blasting through my speaker system....... better then rap (if you ask me)
