I understand that you have to purchase Vol 2 in order to purchase Vol 3, but do you actually have to download and install Vol 2 since the files are also on Vol 3?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael,

Yes, volume 2 is required in order for volume 3 to load since volume 3 references the samples in volume 2. Thus you need to download the DVD 4 DVD 5 and DVD 6 files from the volume_2 and volume_3 ftp folders.

Thank you!

Yey, the height of frustration! Bought Vols II & III, downloaded DVD 4, but now being disconnected and can't get DVD 5. Probably because everybody else has discovered the availability and overloading the servers.
Ah well, patience, but I did think I could at least got Vol II up and running.
Thanks Brett & Martin for your excellent work.

Are checksums available somewhere?

Is the order of keyboards from top to bottom like this?
Solo (Top), Swell, Great, Choir, Pedal ?

:( "Only" another 13 hours until the files finish downloading (hopefully). This gives some time to read the user guides.

Thanks,
Paul

Hello Paul,

Here are the MD5 checksums:

167466f0446a5247f9c62b9ade611cbe *Salisbury-Willis-Samples-DVD-4.CompPkg_Hauptwerk_rar
db00a3154c77798acf5c8f070b01f4f6 *Salisbury-Willis-Samples-DVD-5.CompPkg_Hauptwerk_rar
e1fa9f6d52fb3bfd6b28cf7c397b390f *Salisbury-Willis-Samples-DVD-6.CompPkg_Hauptwerk_rar

Yes, that is the correct order of keyboards from top to bottom.

Many thanks for your order!

There is now time for me to walk the dogs while the full organ is being cached during the initial load! This is really quite exciting...

I noticed while installing that the packages for DVD files 4, 5 and 6 all have "04" in their description; this is of course entirely trivial!

PS (later): Full slush is good fun!

Alan,

"Google is your friend." Put "filezilla" into Google and on the second line of links it will give you this: http://filezilla-project.org/download.php.

Select the correct version for your OS and download.

I can't imagine a more appropriate time to download an organ from Salisbury than this night of the --- SUMMER SOLSTICE!!
I have tried dancing in circles around the computer in expectation that it may increase the download speed, but seems it will still take all night.
Any other suggestions will be considered.
For those among you from a different hemispere, please feel free to adopt an alternative dress code.

I have ordered the upgrade to vol 2, paid for it and waiting the email instructions to download. There did not seem to be an option of paying for upgrade of 2 and 3 together, and $30.75 has been added as shipping costs on upgrade 2. obviously I do no want to pay for another shipping cost when I order the last upgrade, and will do this when no. 2 is downloaded. How can this be avoided?( 2 shipping costs)
We also have an odd situation in this country in that 15% may be added to a physical delivery of discs over a certain minimum amount, but there is no provision to pay tax on downloads irrespective of value- so therefore I would not accept delivery from the post office for the discs if this tax was payable. This is not unlawful, even though it may seem strange.
