Any Option to Delay Attack of Pipe Sample

PostFri Feb 03, 2012 1:47 pm

I am looking for a way to selectively delay the attack of the specific ranges of specific ranks by a small fraction of a second. Any suggestions within odf or codm to do this?

Hello Don,

There's no native functionality currently for doing that in either the Custom Organ Design Module or the 'full' organ definition format - you would need to edit the samples to insert a silent section at the start.
Best regards, Martin.

Thank you for your very timely reply. Ok, so my one alternative at this point (since samples are encrypted) is to route specific ranks to channels that have a vst delay. This is not exactly what I hoped for since I cannot selectively apply it to ranges of samples within a rank, but it will at least help me to see if there is improvement in the attack of the organ in general. If you should think of any other creative ways of applying a delay, please be sure to let me know.
