After months of planning, construction and finishing, I am pleased to show off my new homebuilt 4 manual oak Hauptwerk Console.

Great job, well done.

You might need a small fan on the echo audiofire; they get pretty warm.

Beautiful work! Have you tried pulling the speakers a bit away from the walls on the sides? I know when setting up audio systems, one typically gets the best sound when the speakers are a couple feet away from the walls.

Being an avid woodworker I can say, wow did that ever turn out nice! Great joinery and attention to detail! Yes, by all means get those speakers up off the floor ASAP but keep the stacked arrangement you have, it will make a nice difference in the sound.

Maybe you have a couple of old end tables hanging around collecting dust you could set the speakers on for now, or pick up something cheap (or free?) off of Craigslist?
