Re: It's a Triangle Christmas
Dear Les,
I have tried to access the website to download some of your samplesets and view some music, but the whole website seems to be down. What has happened? Is everything all right?
Blessings,
Pavlos

Re: St Mary’s Redcliffe UK
Hi all! I'm super excited about St Mary Redcliffe - it's an amazing organ and is certainly one of the very best English organs in the country. I only had access to a Zoom microphone when I recorded that video which didn't pick up all the ambience. It's more generous in real life and be rest-assured ...

Hereford XL setter doesn't work?
I have recently re-installed Hereford 67 and 67XL after porting the licence to Hauptwerk 7, and while all has been smooth sailing with the original instrument, the same cannot be said for the XL version. In particular, when I tried changing the divisional combinations the other day, I noticed that ...

Re: Warrington Cavaillé-Coll Sample set from Sonus Paradisi
Well done, Mr. Zurek! I have downloaded the demo set and it is an absolutely delightful medium-sized French Romantic instrument.
It's such a shame that the real Warrington instrument is treated with such apathy by its community.

Re: Installation help and loading samplesets -- v4.2
Hello triapavl, If you completely uninstalled Hauptwerk, selecting the option in the uninstaller to remove all settings and files, and then reinstalled the latest version that you do have (presumably v4.0, based on the error message) 'from clean' then it should eliminate that error. However, many ...

Installation help and loading samplesets -- v4.2
I recently had to upgrade my computer due to hard drive issues, and of course, HW had to be reinstalled. The bad news is that I only had the DVD which I had acquired when I first bought the software, so I could only install version 4. None of my samplesets will work with that version, however, as ...

Re: New St Ouen Composite Set
This is, hands down, the best value-for-money sampleset which I have had the pleasure of playing. It perfectly captures the magic of the Cavaille-Coll sound, and I would even dare to say that it sounds better than even a number of fully-priced sets!

Re: Krzeszow issue -- "Ringing"?
First of all, thank you all for your answers. I'm sorry I cannot reply to all your questions right now, but there has been a development which might help shed some light on the issue. In short, I FOUND THE CULPRIT. More specifically, it's only a single pipe: tenor A of the Oberwerk Quinta 3'. The ...

Krzeszow issue -- "Ringing"?
Hello everyone. Recently, I purchased the Krzeszow sampleset, which so far has left me quite impressed. However, there has been a problem which I have been unable to rectify so far. In particular, what I have noticed is that when playing certain chords on louder registrations (usually D minor or A ...

Re: New sampleset: Walcker Wildervank V2
Why ist this sampleset discontinued? There is still a link for downloading the older version of the Wildervank instrument, if you are interested: http://www.pbrd.nl/index.php/vo/downloads/category/2-hw-4-versie . Unfortunately, it does not have the newer stops, most notably the Oboe and Voix ...

Re: Help me choose a baroque sampleset, please!
An update: I have opted in favour of the Krzeszow sampleset after all. As I said, the Waltershausen was a very close 2nd (NB despite its status as a relatively old HW sampleset, it has aged really well), but the financial factor played a big role -- I'm still on HW version 4! With that said, I must ...

Help me choose a baroque sampleset, please!
Long time no see, Hauptwerk forum! So my question this time around is this: what should be my next sampleset? Many years since I was lucky enough to choose what I believe is the best available Romantic set for HW, I thought that perhaps I could save some money to buy a good baroque set as well; and ...

Re: Help with malfunctioning pedalboard...
UPDATE This might constitute a major change. Now the pedal (without my doing anything) has become partly responsive, and by that I mean: When it is pressed, the virtual key is not pressed. When the pedal starts moving upwards, though, there is a very specific position where the virtual key responds ...

Help with malfunctioning pedalboard...
Long story short, I have a MIDI-switch-based MIDIfied pedalboard which is in effect one "recycled" abroad from an old church organ. The other day, just while I was playing, at that moment keeping a pedal point on the low C#, said key suddenly stopped responding altogether and to this day still won't ...
