Re: Confused by 'Perspectives'

Ian, that's a good thought too. The users probably understand all the explanations (Rank->Perspective->Group or Bus->Audio output). Sounds easy and once understood it is. The real problem is that you go to the Hauptwerk interface with this theoretical knowledge and don't find this mental workflow ...

Re: Confused by 'Perspectives'

Diagrams without description and screenshots are not optimal, but maybe it helps someone (from my Multi-Channel manual). Translation German - English: Tasten - Keys Register - Stop / Rank Primärer Bus - Primary bus Ausgang - Output Gruppe - Group oder - or Umgehung - Bypassing möglich - possible see ...

Forums send no private messages

Hello,
the forum has not sent me any private messages since 2023. I only ever see “Outbox (12)”. Is this function no longer active? PMs arrive, but sending is not possible.
Regards
Wolfgang

Re: How to install organs on an external hard drive?

Thanks for your tips.
My drive is full and I would like to install a demo so that I can buy the set with a Christmas discount if necessary.

I need a temporary little trick until I buy a new PC.

Re: How to install organs on an external hard drive?

Thanks, Martin. I am thinking about how I can still achieve my goal. I would like to save test versions of sample sets on an external USB3 drive. When I change the directory in the Installer, the Installer copies all installed files. Can i prevent this? Is it possible to change the paths in a xml ...

Re: How to install organs on an external hard drive?

But that would be a great solution. Then you could use several drives with different paths. For example, you could install demo sets on a separate drive if space is limited.

Is it possible to use different locations with "alt config 1/2/3.exe"?

Thanks Mark and Jerry,

I don't understand: the three GT reeds are Tromba 16/8/4, so "Reeds/Tromba on Choir” is the same(?)

Re: St Mary, Redcliffe

I have a question about Reeds on Choir and Tromba on Choir.
Which reeds are coupled to Choir?
Tromba presumably the one from the Great?
Which stops or Divisions are affected by Doubles Off?

Re: St Mary, Redcliffe

Hello Richard, I'm doing very well. It just bothered me that someone said just buy (not test). The use of the surname was not malicious. This “Mc”, which is unusual for us, sounds like a bit of a first name. Comparable with "McDonald" (just like McDonald says). The fact that I wasn't a beta tester d ...
