Re: Sound glitches
Thanks, Organtob and Mark. Organtob: given that the other configuration was fine, I think it's probably a setting for that sample set within your usual configuration that's causing the problem, or conceivably the sample set's data cache file (or settings file) had become corrupted. You could ...

Re: Various design issues
Hello Federico, The "Hauptwerk Sample Set Creator Utilities" licence option (which can only be enabled on an iLok dongle) enables the menu option in Hauptwerk that generates and displays the organ definition format documentation (which you would definitely need if you plan to create or edit any ...

Re: Sound glitches
Thanks, Organtob. Are you using Hauptwerk v9? I don't have first-hand experience with the Caen Extension sample set, but given that brannigan has the problem too, with just that sample set but on a different OS (and possibly a different Hauptwerk version), it would appear to suggest that there's ...

Re: Sound glitches
Thanks, brannigan.
Do either of the tests I mentioned eliminate the problem for you?:
- Set the "Trim dB" setting to -50 dB.
- On the Organ Preferences screen's "Wind supply model" tab, tick the "Disable wind supply model" option.

Re: Sound glitches
Thanks, Organtob. [I've now moved your original posts into this topic, so that they're all together.] You mention that you're using an Apple M4-CPU Mac. I don't think we've heard from anyone has tried one of those with Hauptwerk yet, and I've read that they may now support the AVX instruction set ...

Re: Various design issues
Hello Federico, Although the licence for Hauptwerk itself can optionally be activated to a iLok Cloud, the licence for our sample set development tools does specifically need to be activated to an iLok dongle (not iLok Cloud), since the tools are confidential and iLok dongles provide a higher level ...

Re: Audio Output
Hello Federico, There are lots of settings within Hauptwerk that could potentially affect the level of the audio signal, including: - The "Trim dB" setting. - The "Volume" slider. - Level settings on the Audio Mixer. - Whether reverb is being applied on the Audio Mixer, and its settings if so ...

Re: Audio Output
Hello Organtob, Hauptwerk's "Audio" meter (e.g. on the touch menu's "Engine" tab in Hauptwerk v9) simply shows the level of the audio signal that Hauptwerk is sending to the audio driver. If you reduce the accompanying "Trim dB" setting (e.g. by 10 dB) does that solve it?

Re: Linux OS
Hello jbayles, The situation hasn't changed with regard to Linux, i.e: Perhaps we might make a Linux port one day, but there are no plans for that in the near future. (It's a lot of work, and the iLok system isn't currently available for Linux, and relatively few people use Linux, and there aren't ...

Re: "Could not reset MIDI IN port 'micro lite: Port 1 I-1'
Excellent -- very glad to hear it's finally working again. Thanks, RWAbacus. I'll have to reconfigure all the real pipe ranks as well as reinstall each and every organ. Perhaps the Hauptwerk backup will remember those? Hauptwerk backups contain all Hauptwerk settings, globally and for all organs ...
