Re: Pistons on piston toolbar are changing by themselves on piston toolbar 1.
Hello Ernest, My first guess would be that your console is sending an unexpected MIDI message occasionally, which is triggering the master general (or which is triggering a stop, causing the registration to match that stored to the master general, if you don't have the " Last-used master generals ...

Re: Unwanted Wizard screen!
Hello Danny, Yes -- if you see the 'welcome to Hauptwerk' wizard, probably the configuration file(s) had somehow become corrupted on the drive. Ask the organist to use " Help | Create a diagnostic file ... " and send you the resulting file, then you could use " Help | View/extract the contents of a ...

Re: Newly downloaded HW on new computer not opening
Thanks, Sean. What is the process for me upgrading from V6- V9 if it is a different PC? First use " File | Backup ... " within Hauptwerk v6 on the old PC. The v6 licence is in the iLok dongle, so as long as the dongle is attached to the new PC then you could follow my instructions above on the new ...

Re: Newly downloaded HW on new computer not opening
Hello JumboFitz6, To add to Mark's reply: From a quick look in PACE's system, I see you currently have a licence for Hauptwerk v6, which you've been using on Windows, so I assume that you mean that you've downloaded and installed Hauptwerk v9 on Windows. (If not, please let us know.) If so, please ...

Re: Not able to upgrade
Hello eivind, Thanks very much for upgrading to v9. Unused activation codes don't actually expire or stop working, regardless of whether we still officially support a Hauptwerk version. Hence your v5->v7 activation code should still work. Since you now also have a v7->v9 upgrade, this is what you ...

Re: Sample sets don't produce much volume
Hello Marc, I can't comment usefully on the amps and speakers, but I'd suggest first checking that: - The audio level meter in Hauptwerk (e.g. on the " Audio, MIDI and performance " large control panel in Hauptwerk v8) is showing a good signal level (just touching the yellow with large registrations ...

Re: 9.0.1 Mac installer will not validate
Thanks, Martin.
Yes -- the Hauptwerk installation instructions mention the need to do that if using macOS 15+. (On previous macOS versions you can simply right-click on the installer and select 'Open'.)

Re: At war with ilok
Hello Philip, That isn't a message that I've heard of before. Please try: - Exit iLok License Manager and Hauptwerk, as applicable. - Detach your iLok dongle temporarily, if you have one. - Uninstall iLok License Manager: https://help.ilok.com/ilm_setup.html#uninstall - Reboot. - Make sure that any ...

Re: Keyboards suddenly do not play
Hello Marc, Please try: - Shut the computer down, then turn everything off at the mains (including all USB devices/hubs/etc. and all MIDI hardware) for a minute or so. - Switch everything back on, boot the computer, log in to the operating system, and wait at least a minute before launching anything ...
