Forum over Christmas this year?

PostWed Dec 16, 2020 6:07 am

Hello, mainly to Michelle and Brett,

may be I overlooked something, but I did not find a post explaining the forum policy over the holidays this year:

Can we assume that the forum will stay open read only as last year?
Can you give us the dates at which the forum will close and reopen so that we can be prepared?

Many thanks and have a great Christmas season!

Reiner,

Can't believe it is that time of year already!

The forum will be read only on Dec. 24 & 25 and Dec. 31 & Jan 1.

I will post now as well!

Happy Holidays!

May we assume that arrangements this year will be similar to those twelve months ago? Having the forum open but read-only on certain days seems an ideal compromise.

Thanks :-)

Yes, being able to search old topics but not post would be a real help when we're tinkering over the holidays!

I do we can alt least read the forum - it can be useful to search for "stuff" when we perhaps have more time.

Hello organsRgreat, Mark and Iain,

I can confirm now that the plan is as it was last year, i.e. for the forum to be closed (but read-only if feasible) on the 24th, 25th and 31st December, and on 1st January.
Best regards, Martin.
