Took a hiatus but back now and looking to upgrade

So... I was away from Hauptwerk for a while but I am back and looking to upgrade from my HW v4.2 with the dongle. From reading, it is my understanding that I would be skipping v5 and going right to v6. Is this correct? I understand that there is cost increase between my old v4.2 and the new v6. Is there a price cut for updating from v4.2? If yes, how much would that be? If not, what is the full cost of v6? I have seen different plans but I think I would be interested in the perpetual version.

I would advise getting an iLok dongle so that you are not dependent on an internet connection. You can purchase a dongle from Amazon, or several musician's supply stores.

Yes, your ILock will work. I have E/W, HW, and other VSTi's on one ILock
