Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ

Well, Black Friday is just over a week away, the date on which, historically, we have gotten new Hauptwerk versions. Because of the subscription pricing model, I think it’s pretty likely we’ll get a new version soon, and Black Friday seems like a pretty good candidate for the launch. So my question is: what new features do people predict we can expect if it does really launch just over a week from now?

Sorry to disappoint you -- there won't be a v7 released in 2021, but you shouldn't have much longer to wait. (I can't give any further details, though.)

Whenever Hauptwerk VII does appear, it would be nice if somebody had the courtesy to let the resellers know, so that we can get our websites ready in advance. We're still waiting for any official notification to resellers of the release of HW VI last year.

Hello all,

from my side there is a wish for a new functionality for Hauptwerk VII:

That is, to include a metronome feature inside Hauptwerk. It is so that maybe not only me, but also others, like to use a metronome from time to time for practising purposes.

Instead having an external one, it should be no rocket science to have that feature in Hauptwerk included.

Maybe to select between some different click sounds, to change volume and click rate and some clock types, that's all.
That would be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for the suggestion. Yes -- we do have that logged as a potential enhancement request for the future (along with many others). Just for future reference, this topic covers the intended place to submit enhancement requests: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=12099#p89466 . (There's no need to submit that one, though, since it's already logged.)

I don't use the suggestion box because suggestions should be open to group discussion, not hidden. This is, after all, a "forum".

Maybe sometimes, even supposed little things might raise the acceptance of a product more as it seems first...
So I am looking forward for future releases!

It would be nice if Hauptwerk had basic vst host capabilities.
So you can use third party crossovers, roomcorrection, reverb (inspirata!!), and equalizer vsts within Hauptwerk without using Reaper or Cantabile.
