Forum optimization for smartphone displays

Dear MDA-team,
I don't know whether this question has been asked or if this is the right forum:
But is it possible to optimize the forum (or maybe updating the forum software) for displaying on mobile phones? I find it very inconvenient to zoom in threads to make them readable when I am on the road.
I know phpbb has such a built-in function because I managed a forum a while ago.
