Dupre Bach Volume V page 34 Fuga

Might anyone know the BWV for this? it is in C major (might be transposed), but it definitely isn't BWV 846 or 953...

Bach's only fugues that I'm aware of in C major are 531, 545, 547, 553, 564, 946 (beside 846 and 953, which you already mentioned - though they each have C major fugues in them). I'm afraid I don't have that edition of Dupre, so I can't help any more than that. I'm pretty sure he never transposed Bach though! He used to play every Bach organ piece from memory!

unfortunately, it isn't any of those - the theme is very Bach-like (baroulage on a major chord)...

I checked the Dupre edition you cited, then looked for the piece.
It appears to be by Kirnberger (formerly attributed to Bach)
