J S Whiteley plays Bach organ works on various European organs in a new series of 21st Century Bach on Sky Arts, 8 pm tonight ( UK time). 1st of a series of broadcasts. One for Sky+ if you're out this evening

You beat me to it Peter ... I was going to make an identical post.

I saw a series on BBC2 a couple of years ago which was done very similarly - I don't know whether it was one and the same series but it featured John Scott Whiteley too. I don't remember quite so much weird cinematography though - all those mirror images of hands and feet!

I cannot work out whether Damien Hirst's introductory scene with the bees in intended to be a reference to the "beehive" sound of multiple wind leaks across many pipes and ranks, or to JS Bach's "beehive" hairstyle. Any ideas?

I think it is a weekely series with at least one more programme at the same time next week.

Hi Ken

Not sure about the bees ! Damien Hirst seems to have a passion for insectivora... here they are !

May be something to do with Bach's Beehive hairdo... but now you know where JSW's shades come from

I tried to buy the CDs from BBC for the previous series, they said no. I e-mailed John Scott Whiteley, no response. Does anyone know if these are available for purchase?
