Going from 56 notes to 61

PostFri Mar 31, 2023 5:40 pm

I've changed the number of pipes in the Rank category from 56 to 61 in my CODM. After these changes, I removed the existing CODM file and placed the revised file of the same name into the C drive HW User folder and loaded the revised CODM in HW as if it were a new custom organ. I did it this way to preserve all of my settings. I've done revisions like this before with no issues, but the pitch count remains at 56 not the 61.
Have I overlooked anything?

Note: The HW console manuals in this CODM are 56 and the pedal compass is 30.
Do these also require changes?

Thanks,
Doug

Note, the CODM file is used to generate an ODF file. You must use the "load custom organ" feature to convert the CODM into an ODF, then after that if you load the ODF directly, it will not regenerate.

Also, it's not enough to just specify how many pipes are in the rank. As you've discovered, the division has to have the full number of keys, and you need a stoprank item that is configured to transmit the extra pipes as well. Try this and see if it works.
