One key pressed; Two notes playing

PostSat Dec 26, 2020 6:29 pm

Over last few years everything fine. Moved in September. Reconnected organ and re-verified connections again after finding problem. Example: A/B-flat playing mixed pitch on both keys, F/F#; C#/D, A/B-flat. When playing the A it plays the A and b-flat together. Same with the B-flat. Can't play anything. It is all up and down the keyboard with about 4-5 notes playing normal. Same problem notes on all manuals. All instruments. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
Windows; v.6 (but v.4 did same after the move), MOTU Ultra-Lite MK3, 3 manuals from 1982 Visser-Rowland

It really depends on how your manuals are wired, but I suspect a keying issue more than anything. Especially if your manuals are wired using magnetic reed switches. Usually reed switches are adjusted so that they don’t cause any trouble with adjacent notes, but they may need to be adjusted from time to time. Some builders also put metallic shields between to prevent this, check to make sure nothing had shifted during transport.
