x-keys as pistons/stops/couplers

PostFri Mar 26, 2021 11:10 am

I've seen some debate on here about the pros and cons of x-keys. Recently I acquired a 16 button x-key stick and (with some assistance) I am programming them (successfully) to operate with HW6.

I understand that teach button is backlit independently of the others and therefore assume (and certainly I hope) that each button light can be programmed independently to demonstrate it's "on/off" or "in use" state.

Does anyone have any experience of this aspect of x-keys?

In passing I note that the x-key manufacturer is alive to the benefits x-key can have for Hauptwerk https://xkeys.com/utilization/xkeysaudi ... organ.html
