Sorry if this is common knowledge.
I've tried various commercial organs with HW over about 8years such as:-
Yahama HX, Roland C330, Technics GA3, Orla Ringway RS480 etc but non have been ideal, usually because the stops/voices and/or pistons don't transmit midi data or, as in the case of the RS480, the pistons send a long sys ex stream which HW cannot decode so it has to be entered manually for each piston.
Yesterday I bough a Yamaha EL90S and I wish I'd bought one years ago.
There are 68 stops/voices button: two banks of 14 for the upper and lower manuals and two banks of 6 for the pedals so enough for many sample sets.
There are 16 pistons which send a couple of bytes which can easily be assigned to the virtual organ combination pistons or whatever you want (just don't set up the combinations on the EL90)
Even the 16 button rhythm section sends data as do the 5 Basic Voices buttons, so useful for couplers.
There are two swell pedals, one with switches. The right switch can be used as a registration stepper.
HW autodetects correctly so no need for manual entry.
It's really a great choice if you are looking for a console for HW.
PS the EL90's sounds are pretty good eg strings and brass.
