Imac Ram

Here is a site that claims their ram can double capacity for many imac models. They list the models and year of manufacturer. Wonder if anyone has tried this? https://eshop.macsales.com/memory/maxram

I've used RAM from OWC in Mac Pros, MacBooks, and Mac minis. Good stuff ..

As to doubling RAM capacity, it's simply that memory cards have become available that support the actual hardware capability of the motherboard/chipset. This happens with all kinds of machines, not just Macs — where the initial RAM limitation was based on card/chip availability, not PC hardware.
