"Insider leaker" Mark Gurman who has an excellent track-record for pre-release information has said the new MacBook Pros are in production. Supposedly (more leaks) they will be available with up to 64GB of RAM. Since the M1X is a SoC (System on a Chip), the RAM is incorporated with the CPU. It would therefore seem the same SoC will be available on the Mac-Mini also. However, also because of the SoC, the RAM can never be changed or upgraded, so the machine has to be purchased with the amount of memory that the user requires. Knowing what Apple has historically priced their memory at, it kind of scares me what a 64GB machine will cost. I'm looking forward to seeing these machines!
