Hello Thomas,

To confirm, you mean you can hear the issue even when the settings on Hauptwerk's 'Organ settings | Organ preferences | Audio engine' screen are set exactly as follows?:

- Disable interpolation = Y
- Disable harmonic-shaping filters = Y
- Disable swell box filters = Y
- Disable per-pipe EQ = Y
- Air flow randomisation adjustment = 0
- Disable wind supply model = Y (on the Wind Supply Model tab)

If so, the only possible kind of modulation that Hauptwerk could apply would be amplitude modulation, and it would only do that if you had a tremulant or enclosure actively modulating the rank. To eliminate even that possibility, please try temporarily removing any tremulant and enclosure attributes from the CODM's Rank entry (i.e. set Rank.Encl_EnclosureCode=0/null and Rank.Trem_TremulantCode=0/null in the CODM ODF). Do you then still hear the effect?

If so, then I think it must simply be psycho-acoustic effect from the samples being played at the same time, e.g. beat frequencies between the two samples. If you mix the two raw samples together in an audio editor, do you hear the same effect?
Best regards, Martin.

Thanks again for your quick reply, Martin!

Disabling all filters didn't show any effect, hence I thought the problem must lie in the samples again. Obviously the issue concentrated on two notes, I tried to modify them (in an audio-editor they sounded absolutely clear, I cut a few milliseconds from the beginning), but with no success. Only replacing with adjacent notes solved the problem. Still I don't know what was wrong with them :|
Best regards
Thomas

Thanks, Thomas.

Glad to hear you've found some means to resolve it satisfactorily, whatever the cause might have been.
Best regards, Martin.
