Sampling Guide Request Ignored(?)

PostFri May 10, 2019 11:31 am

I sent a request regarding the sampling guide which seems to have been ignored save for the receipt acknowledgement. I'm both surprised and disappointed. I'm a long time license holder. Are there additional requirements? I only wish to sample a couple of digital stops before unloading these units.
Thanks,
Doug

Did you ever receive it? I sent in a request a few weeks ago, but so far no dice.

Hello lizny,

Just in case you sent that request somewhere different, the email address to contact for that would be support [at][ hauptwerk.com . Francois handles that, and he's very prompt and helpful. If that was the address you contacted, then perhaps his reply is in your Spam folder?

Edit: P.S. Francois will also need to know your iLok account name (not the password), so that he can deposit the relevant licences to your iLok account.
Best regards, Martin.

Hello Doug,

Very sorry to hear about that. If you're still interested in getting it, please contact Francois via support [at][ hauptwerk.com , also letting him know your iLok account name (not the password), and he'll be able to get that to you.
Best regards, Martin.

I wasn’t aware that the Sample-Set Developers’ Guide required a licence...

Hello Douglas,

An additional licence option needs to be activated to the iLok dongle to enable some sample development utility functions in Hauptwerk. There's no charge for it -- along with the sample set developer documentation, it's available freely upon request via email to Hauptwerk users who have an Advanced Edition licence for whichever Hauptwerk version is current at the time (i.e. v7 currently).
Best regards, Martin.

I've checked my spam logs and the only mail from hauptwerk is the auto responder. I did send to the support address above. I wrote again with my ilok account name on Friday. Thanks for your help

Hello lizny,

Thanks for the update. Perhaps there's some kind of strange email problem somewhere. I'll email Francois myself and point him to this thread, so that he can try contacting you by another means if needed.
Best regards, Martin.

Hello Doug,

Really sorry, but I searched our tickets' database and can't find any request from you. I even searched our support email database (who is no longer monitored) and same result. I searched using your forum' email address.

Important, to submit a ticket you must go thru the support page at https://www.hauptwerk.com/submit-ticket/.

Hope that helps.
Best regards
François

Thank you! I'm excited to get started. I've was going to do this two years ago, but haven't had access to the organ because of covid.
