My home made hauptwerk organ is finally finished!

PostSun Apr 12, 2020 10:42 am

Happy Easter to everyone!

My home made hauptwerk organ is finally finished!
As my friend said all it took was a world pandemic to have the time to finish it.
It's been 7 years since I've bought the first parts for the console.

It's extremely stressful to upload pics on here. I spent a couple of hours this morning in attempting to upload my images without any luck. Even opened an account on Flickr but every time was getting the same message -
"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image". So bloody annoying.

Anyway, the next day after we went into the lock down in the UK I started working every day on my console.

That's the pic of my base around 3 weeks ago:

and that the final pic:

and the whole album

Very nice Tomasz. Congratulations on a lovely piece of work.

Hopefully, now is the time for some serious playing!

Stay safe,

Nick

PS, I use Google dropbox for posting images. There is a mechanism by which you can easily create a 'shareable link' for any images in it. they look like this ' https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7clI ... kE2SXl2WDQ ' but if you try and use that link 'as is' it will generate the error you describe. Somehow, I came across the solution which is to change the link to ' https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B7clI8_ ... kE2SXl2WDQ ' (that is, change ' open? ' into ' uc?' ). If you then put the modified link between the image tags it seems to work. Possibly, there is a similar problem (and similarly obscure solution) with Flickr.

Great work Tomas, I’m jealous of your skills!

Which instrument do you intend to use on your console?
