Finally done!

PostTue Apr 14, 2020 7:09 pm

Since being home all the time I’ve finally had time to finish my home practice console!
I designed it to be self contained (except for the sub) and can fit through a standard door.
The keyboards are from a Schlicker console, and the pedalboard was in an old AOB console.

Sure I’ll share details.
The keyboards are from a Schlicker organ and pedalboard is from an AOB console. Expression shoes are made by Fatar (rebranded by StudioLogic).
I built the PC myself with 32gb RAM, m.2 solid state drive, and a Gigabyte motherboard for fast booting.
The interface is M-Audio profire 610. They aren’t made any longer, but I found a used one because they connect using FireWire.
All MIDI encoders and decoders are from midi-hardware.com.
Touchscreens are 22” Planar Helium PCT 2235.
I’m using the Behringer 2031a studio monitors for the front channels and the cheaper 8” Monoprice studio monitors for the rear channels and reverb. Subwoofer is one I build from a kit from Parts Express....the ultimax 15” and it goes down to 15hz!
I had the keyboards first and knew I wanted to use them, so I designed and built the console around them also making sure it would fit through a standard 32” door.
