RME HDSP9632

PostSun Jul 11, 2021 3:59 am

There will be many using the wonderful dinosaur audio card RME HDSP9632.
I am wondering how many have used the digital breakout cable and then the XLR digital out.

Recently I purchased a little picoLink gadget that converts the XLR digital out signal to L and R balanced analog audio.

Sound is perfect.

Like me I am sure there are many using the wonderful dinosaur audio card RME HDSP9632.

I am wondering how many have used the XLR digital out on the digital breakout cable.

I recently purchased a little picoLink gadget that converts the single XLR out into left and right balanced audio channels. The sound is fantastic.

Hello Stephen,

In case you're wondering where it went, I moved your previous post on the topic to the 'Audio / MIDI interfacing' section of the forum:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19892

(That's the intended section for questions about audio/MIDI interfaces.)

If you have the forum software's 'User control panel | Board preferences | Edit posting defaults: Notify me upon replies by default' option turned on then it will email you whenever somebody replies to a topic of yours (unless the email ends up in your Spam folder).

I'll merge this new topic with that previous one later (once you've had a chance to read it), so as to keep it in one place.
Best regards, Martin.
