Hi friends.
I've got a satisfying little "portative" setup (more details below) and recently I've noticed that sometimes when I turn the system on, Hauptwerk starts up and gets to the organ, but audio takes a little while to turn on. I can press keys on the MIDI keyboard and they move on the screen, but audio doesn't come out of the speakers. Sometimes it's as much as 10 seconds, and suddenly it jerks on and audio starts working. I don't remember it taking this long in the past. More alarmingly, I came back from lunch today (the organ had been on a couple hours) and audio stopped working entirely. I restarted the computer, unplugged and replugged in the audio interface, and then things started working again, but that never happened in the past. I noticed there's a firmware update available for the MOTU 8a interface, and I'll install that tomorrow and see if it solves the issue, but does anybody have any other ideas?
Hauptwerk 7 on a Mac Mini (2018, 3.6 GHz Quad-Core i3)
audio interface: MOTU 8a (connected via Thunderbolt-to-USB-C, running at 96 kHz)
MIDI interface: MOTU micro lite
Thanks for your time,
Jeff
