Loss of Right Hand Jamb

PostSat Jan 08, 2022 9:18 am

OK system great until a few days ago as I minimised the Right Hand Screen by accident, Left Hand Screen and Jamb fine.
The Right Screen now showing just the DELL desktop and a few Hauptwerk Icons.
Tried opening the "View" icon on the Left Touchscreen toolbar, all I see is ghosted out "Console window 2 , 3 & 4"

How do I resurrect the Right Hand Jamb.

Currently using MILAN Hereford Software from Lavender Audio.

Not a PC Guy so go easy on me please! : :D

Hello Glenn,

[Topic moved here.]

If the "Console window N" options on the View menu are greyed out you must currently be in full-screen mode, so first come out of that by pressing Escape. The menu options should then become enabled again, and you could then tick or un-tick the relevant console window item to open/close that window.
Best regards, Martin.

Many thanks for this and indeed the View screen is asking me to do this, forgive me but where is this Escape Key, do you have to interface a laptop to the system?

Thanks, Glenn.

Do you mean that you don't currently have any kind of computer keyboard connected to the computer? (The Escape key is usually at the top-left of computer keyboards.)

Alternatively, if you have the mini control panel visible which has the 'Show: Full-screen, Normal, Min" buttons on it, you could click on the "Normal" button to come out of full-screen mode. (That control panel is docked at the top-right, or bottom-left, of the main Hauptwerk window by default.)
Best regards, Martin.

It would seem I need to find a Keyboard and hook it up to the PC as the On Screen Buttons are not responding when I press them.

I seem this missing Jamb issue which has happened before was easily corrected without much fuss, but this time!!!

Hello Glenn,

If those buttons aren't accessible, you could alternatively select "View | Show console windows normal size" from the menu, which will take Hauptwerk out of full-screen mode. You should then be able to use the "View | Show console window N" entries to close/re-open the non-primary console windows.
Best regards, Martin.
