Transpose a single rank?

Is it possible to transpose a single rank of a sample set?

If possible, I'd like to have a particular 8' rank to behave as if it were a 4' rank.

Is this possible within Hauptwerk? Or does it involve CODM work?

Unless it's the only rank you're using from that division at the time, so a unison off (if any) and octave coupler would work, you're going to need CODM -- assuming that's allowed by the sampleset producer.
