Dear all,
After 16 months of work I am happy to announce the release of a new sample set: the Walcker organ (32/II/P) from the Grote Kerk in Wildervank (Netherlands).
The first edition of the sampleset from this organ was produced around 2010 by virtual-organs.nl (Dirk Swama and Jaap Plaisier). The sound-processing of this edition wasn’t exact because a special kind of noise-filtering and additional coloration was added to the samples which changed the original sound. Also it was in principle single-loop and single-release. This version also didn’t contain the newly added stops from 2013.
In 2014 we wished to create this set from scratch: new recording and processing, new graphics, and so on.
We also wanted to restore the original disposition from 1913. Therefore we recorded some missing stops on the 1878 Walcker-organ in Uithuizen. By now it also contains the new stops which were added in 2013.
Finally we made a selection of stops which would have an additional tremolo option because not every 8’ stop on the Schwellwerk is suitable enough to use with a tremolo. So with this additions this sampleset reproduces the organ in it’s original and realistic state again.
We recorded the set in dual-stereo: front and rear samples (which are adjustable). It contains by example 14-16 loops per sample, multi-releases and a adjustable general-crescendo. All other presets and functions of the present organ have been added also.
This set can be delivered from next week. Outside the Netherlands only as a download-version (8,33 Gb.) and within the Netherlands also on a USB-stick. It is encrypted and does not require a dongle license update.

Best regards,
Danny
