Simply try again after some time. The server is gradually updating all the links.

It's working now (dry).
Wasn't earlier, except for a file called "rotterdam labels", which is called part 3 now, but the server says I have downloaded part 3 once, which is not the case! (It also says there's unlimited downloads of this part, so it shouldn't be a problem).

I think the procedure is to contact them and they supply the download links.

I suppose that the surround version (crossgrade from the dry version) is expected too.

I downloaded the surround version yesterday. Is the crossgrade different?

I have a question wrt to pipe coupling. What is meant by pipe beating?
Does this apply to reeds only?

Have a look at https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/blog/pipe-coupling-phenomenon/ on the SP site.

On a real pipe organ I think it is easier to hear this with flue pipes, though it will occur with reeds too. It is really interference between the sound waves from pipes which are near to each other on the soundboard.

Both variants (surround and dry) have a new MIXER tab, including features of Pipe Coupling and Pipe Detune, allowing to set the level of mistuning of the pipes of the virtual instrument. Fine Tuned Mixtures (and multi-rank diapason ranks as well!) available via a dedicated switch. You can clearly hear from the new demos on my web, that the effect of the pipe coupling and detuning has tremendous impact on the "realism" of the sample set.

A demo sample setcan be downloaded (as usualy) from my web.

Hello Jiri,

Four days ago I sent you the following message. Did you receive it?
In my account, ‘My Products’ has allowed me to download the dry version of Rotterdam 1.45. But the crossgrade from the dry version doesn’t mention this new version. Do I to wait for an update of your site, or are those 11 files already in 1.45 version?

Cordially,
Luc

I believe pipe coupling refers to one pipe pulling the tuning off of another pipe near to it on the soundboard, but that usually this pulls the other pipe closer to its own tuning, whereas pipe beating refers to the audible beating heard if two pipes are close to the same pitch but not quite. If two pipes are really close, the beats are very slow, so that they’re usually not bothersome, same if the tuning is really off, it’s not bothersome because the beats are so fast. Where it’s a problem is if it’s somewhere in the middle.

Thank you for the explanation- much appreciated!
Since Jiri adds this via the new mixer I guess thus does not normally occur in a virtual organ.
The complex matrix interactions that happen in a cathedral I guess are difficult to mimic in a sample set.

Cordially,

Has anyone heard from Jiri? For a week, I have not received any response to my repeated messages. Would he be on vacation or ill? I would be interested to know if I am the only one in this situation. Thank you in advance.

I received an email from Jiri today announcing Freiberg 2.7. Probably lots of people received the same message.
