Hello Andy,

Theorbe wrote:I don’t suppose CODM will support per note per rank detuning in a future version?

We do have enhancement requests logged for allowing equivalents of the per-note voicing parameters in the CODM ODF format.

Theorbe wrote:As a last report, I suppose one could use some form of UI automation to paste a set of random values into each edit field in the Rank Voicing / Detuning. Cumbersome and certainly not ideal. That’s assuming UI automation is not a breach of terms?

Yes -- of course you could do that if you wanted to -- the voicing screen is part of Hauptwerk's user interface. (The voicing screen might change between Hauptwerk versions, though, so you may need to maintain your utility accordingly.)

Hello Andy,

I will log as enhancement request that you would like a new function on the voicing screen to randomise the positions of the sliders (within a user-specified maximum amount) -- I assume that's what you mean.

(I'm afraid I can't give any indications about whether or when any given enhancement request will be implemented, though. We have vastly more than we could implement in the next few years, and we review them all for each new version to decide on development priorities. If you really want that kind of function urgently then I'd recommend making your proposed automation utility for now.)
Best regards, Martin.

Thanks, Andy.

Glad you managed to achieve the effect you were hoping for. I think we probably wouldn't want to publish it ourselves in an official capacity, but of course if you want to post a link to it here on the forum, or on your own website (or wherever you like) then you're welcome.
Best regards, Martin.

Thanks, Andy.

I'm not really sure where the best place would be, but I suppose this thread is as good as any!

Greetings Münsterorganist,

You can search "Installing appxbundle" in Google and you will find many post explaining "how to".

You will need to activate a functionality in Windows settings then use a powershell comment: I haven't tried Theorbe program, but here are the steps to install such program:

- Go to Settings - Update & Security - For Developers.
- Depending on the Version of Windows 10 Home, enable 'Sideload apps' or 'Developer Mode'
- Open Powershell as Administrator:
- Run the following command (replace the path of your appx file):
- Add-AppxPackage -Path "C:\Path\to\File.Appx"
- Close Powershell
Best regards
François
