I find this Sample Set to be exceptionally lovely. For me, the best French Romantic Style Sample Set since the release of HW 5. For live play (using Headphones), I blend the Front and Rear Sounds, with a touch of added Reverb and normal Tracker Sounds. For playback of MIDI files which I produce by hand, I use Front Sound only, with NO added reverb and NO Tracker Sounds.
Granted, the Disposition is unusual, but this is well known before ordering the Sample Set. There are not as many Principal Stops as on a Baroque Organ, but this is made up for by the exceptionally lovely Flute voices, and a very fine Voix Celeste (to be used with the Viole de Gambe).
I have just successfully recorded a Virtual Performance of Naji Hakim's "To Call My True Love To My Dance", a wonderful set of Variations on a traditional English Carol (with strong Middle Eastern overtones!). To my ears, the sounds achieved with this Sample Set well surpass any recording of this work available on You-Tube. Sorry I cannot post this one, but the piece is still covered by International Copyright.
