Alessandria - new sample set

PostSat Dec 12, 2020 2:45 pm

Hello,
I've released a new sample set - Alessandria. The organ, built by the well known and appreciated company Mascioni, represents romantic-symphonic style, while being very versatile. I hope you will like it. As usual there is free demo version with limited amount of stops.

Stay healthy!

Piotr, the recordings are exquisite. This is a stellar addition to the Hauptwerk family of instruments. Thank you for offering such a beautiful instrument.

I think Mascioni has the greatest contribution to it. I think many people who played Giubiascio and Azzio sample sets were convinced that this company produces great instruments. Alessandria isn't an exception. I hope I will sample another organ of Mascioni in future :)

Sounds wonderful - looks great
Purchased a little while ago and downloading now.
I know there were server issues, but a single 21GB file seems dangerous.
Fingers crossed :)

Wow! What a nice sounding instrument. The 34min video demo really shows off the versatility of what this instrument can do. I was quite surprised personally since at first glance I just saw Italian organ & Italian church.

Excellent work Poitr!

Only took 9 hours to download! I have an extremely fast gigabit connection, but the speed was slow, 300-600kbs. But the entire 21gb file downloaded without a hitch. Installed and ready to go. I can’t play it right now because my wife’s church is having a zoom thing. Later.

I will think how to improve speeds. Some people get much better speeds, but some quite slow ones...

Piotr recommends that you use a download manager, which is good advice. It took me about 5 hours to download. I am now having fun playing it!

I did, too. Took 9 hours. Guess lots of people were downloading the trial?
Well, that's history and everything is fine now.
I remember when I bought Hereford I had to wait for the DVDs from England.
We've just become too impatient :)

Can you you run the full version in 4.2? Is there a difference in the download file for 4.2 and 6.02?

If you want to hear the Campane on the Grande Organo you will need Hauptwerk 6.0.2
