Looking for V5 - MDA Oberwerk & Evensong Long Beach A/S

PostTue Mar 16, 2021 6:43 pm

for which I have transferred/migrated the V4 licenses to my iLok. Are the Version 5 of these sample sets available? If so, where?

Interesting, the MDA 3-31 MasterWorks WurlitZer goes back to Hauptwerk Version 2 from 2007. Just downloaded the Version 5. At the time that I bought it, was one of my favs. This sample set was distributed via a DVD.

From the User Guide for the MW 3-31:

Production Team:

Brett Milan - Sampling, Post Production Editing, Organ Definition File Creation & Graphics (HW2 GUI and DVD Design)

Jim Gallops - Sampling Assistant, Post Production Editing & Organ Definition File Creation

Richard Dissell - Sampling Assistant & Tonal Finishing

Chris Gorsuch - Final Voicing and Balancing for website audio demonstrations

Jelani Eddington - Organ Design and Specification [http://www.rjeproductions.com]

You may remember Brett posting this:
http://forum.hauptwerk.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17988&p=136755&hilit=illinois&sid=c58e2885dc730bf6236a93fb60452e38&sid=c58e2885dc730bf6236a93fb60452e38#p136755

He doesn't mention the Oberwerk set but it might be worth sending him email and asking about this, particularly if you purchased a licence for the instrument.

I think I'm right in saying that Oberwerk is no longer available.
(I'm fairly sure it was Brett that said so, but I can't remember where or when.)

Hello Ed,

To my knowledge the Oberwerk is no longer available. I will recheck with Brett, but from memory I had a few requests about that when HW5 was released and it wasn't available anymore.

Hello Ed,

Confirmed, Oberwerk is no longer available, as a matter of fact it has been "dead" for nearly a decade.
Best regards
François

I figured as much but have a V5 licence for it. And a decade is a short time when it comes to real pipe organs.

Same with Silver Octopus.
They never upgraded their Studio Series to HW5, so I’m not giving them any more business.
