So nice to hear, David! (I’d love to hear the Sowerby if you’re willing to share)

Nice post to Contrebombarde by Carson Cooman: https://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/45822
He did admit to me he added a small amount of extra reverb, and I think it is very tastefully and believably applied.

Enjoy!

And now Carson gives a substantial 11+ minute demo on the little Hradetsky:

I can’t get enough of the strings on this organ. What an embarrassment of riches!

The strings and vox... I agree.

I need to get some more demos out - I’ve enjoyed exploring this so far, too. So much color.

What are the different stop groups named 0, 1, and 2?
Clicking on voicing takes me to the Zero grouping.

Steve, 0,1, and 2 correspond to the stereo channels: direct, ambient and remote respectively.

BTW, is there a way to have HW select all channels used for a given stop when you want to adjust it. It would make it so much easier.

Hello voet,

Could you clarify what you're referring to by 'channels'? Do you mean on one of Hauptwerk's settings screens? Which one, if so? Or the voicing screen?

Martin, using the Skinner that is referenced in this thread, when I right click on a stop, the drop down menu allows me to "Adjust voicing or surround..." I have to select each one of the 3 channels by using "Ctrl" and the each channel individually in turn. This requires scrolling through the list of all stops. After they are all selected in this way, I can then make the appropriate adjustments. This is very cumbersome and time consuming since this activity is usually done on a per stop basis.

I would like to have HW offer the option of selecting all channels for a given stop.

Thank you for your reply. Hopefully I explained this better.

I think by channels, you are actually referring to perspectives, as in close, ambient etc

Thanks, Bill.

That isn't possible in Hauptwerk currently, but we do have enhancement requests logged covering effectively that.
Best regards, Martin.

Yes, Lougheed, that I believe we are discussing the same thing. This is why I specifically mentioned the E. M. Skinner in this thread. In the description, it reads:

The Skinner is our first 6-channel set, and the sounds are very rich as a result – one may adjust the sliders of direct, ambient and remote to “dial in” your preferred sound.

I hope this clears it up.
