Announcing the organs of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Los A

PostThu Apr 01, 2021 4:11 pm

Evensong is pleased to announce the imminent release of the organs of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Los Angeles. Immanuel Presbyterian is one of the great churches on Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles, California. The main church seats over 2000 people. There are three organs on the campus. A 1929 EM Skinner, a 1956 Schlicker (the first three manual Schlicker to be installed in Southern California), and a 2 manual 1977 Hradetzky.

Read all about the release here: http://www.evensongmusic.net/?p=4334 - price, release date, special introductory price for newsletter subscribers.

For all those who celebrate, a blessed 3 Days and Happy Easter!

There have been a few, and we have a person on our Beta team that played it extensively (and took lessons from Clarence Mader). We've done our best to "put it back" to the original spec, most of that involved moving some stops back to their original divisions.

If you're trying to reach the site - the server seems to be down right now. Apologies.... it rarely happens (usually only 12x a year!)

[edit] We're back up. Sorry for the "blip"

Hi,
Will there be a 14 day trial licence available please? Will this be compatible with your special pricing for newsletter subscribers.

Thanks.

E. M. Skinner's opus 676 ticks all of the boxes for his fans: Erzähler, Flute Celeste, French Horn, French Trumpet, Tuba Mirabilis, 5 rank Swell Mixture, Chimes, Harp, Celesta.

We of course are offering a trial license - there has been such a positive response to that feature with the PPC Æolian-Skinner that we will do it with most (if not all) of our future instruments.

It does, indeed. And, while I’m biased, I do think this is one of the best instruments we’ve ever put out. Plus, the addition of the two chapel instruments as part of the package is a nice bonus, too.

Yes, there is. Don’t have time to edit a smaller version so it will post here, but here’s the link: http://www.evensongmusic.net/wp-content ... SIMPLE.jpg

And Zimbelstern and 6-channel! I've been watching for what I've been calling an ideal "Christmas" organ and this checks all the boxes. I will definitely be demo-ing this one.
