Krzeszow -- flat pedals?

PostThu May 06, 2021 7:48 pm

This morning I have loaded up the DEMO version of SP's Krzeszow sample set.
The DEMO includes 3 pedal stops .... Subbass 16, Octavbass 8 and Trompetbass 8.

I am not sure why but the Subbass and Trompetbass are pitched 1 full note too low.

If you have Krzeszow (full or DEMO) can you please check the pitch of these 2 stops on your organ for me?

Is there an explanation?

In the full version, the 4 pedal stops labeled Camer Ton are a whole tone flat (chamber pitch), and a coupler shifts the Positiv to Kammerton as well. Don't know about the demo version.

The explanation is given on the Sonus Paradisi website.

https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/ ... oland.html

It relates to the fact that the Positiv manual can be shifted into "Kammerton". These pedal stops are for use when the keyboard has been shifted.

Thx to both of you.
How fascinating!

Because I was fiddling only with the DEMO I didn't read everything on the web page carefully enough. My mistake.

Thx
Stephen
