OrganArt Media is pleased today to be able to announce the Release of the Riepp Dreifaltigkeits (Holy Trinity) organ after a year of development work.
Riepp Organ Specification
The 4-manual Riepp organ, largely preserved in its original state from 1766, with its 51 (66) stops and three tremulants, is one of the most famous organs in the world, and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful-sounding.
Above all, the numerous lovely flutes, the warm sound blending foundation stops, the powerful, sonorous reeds and the brilliant mixtures with double ranks, result in an extraordinary South German-French sound, which can cover a wide range of organ literature.
Numerous sound examples can already be found on ConcertHall (search “Dreifaltigkeit”)
Concert Hall organ demos
The 4-channel virtual Riepp organ with variable room acoustics/surround (VAR) contains switchable extended keyboard compasses (manuals C-f3, pedal C-f1), so that music from the Romantic period can also be played that goes beyond the original range.
The screen graphics support 16:9 landscape format (Console, Stops, Left, Right, Control page), 4:3 landscape format (Stops, Left, Right) as well as 16:9 portrait format ( Left, Right), in which an almost exact image of the original stops can be achieved with suitably large monitors.
Other special features:
- Possibility to choose between the Vox humana of the small Riepp and the Schalmej of the large Riepp for the Voxho register, in order to restore the presumably correct historical state.
- Choice between current and historical effects of the tremulants on the manuals.
By merging the wind trunks around 1860, the formerly separate tremulants now also work on other manuals
- Detuning unit that realizes natural detuning in the range of +- 5 cents and contributes to the most authentic sound.
- Special manually designed Riepp font to experience the charm of old lettering
- Special ODF (2-channel) only for sound impression in the organ gallery/at the console (will be submitted later as an update)
The USB box version includes a 64 GByte USB3 stick and a printed booklet (to be released later)
Prices:
Special introductory price (until December 31, 2022):
Download: 625.- Euro (525.21 without VAT), later 725.- Euro (609.24)
