BALDWIN 645 HAUPTWERK READY For Sale
Posted: Wed Feb 08, 2023 11:17 amBeautiful Baldwin 645 has been professionally converted to MIDI for Hauptwerk and similar applications. Can be used as replacement pipe organ console. Original stop list retained with full compliment of couplers. All new Peterson stop magnets, new pistons, and memory level system. Case work in excellent condition. Room for computer screens in Portrait mode on each side of keyboards. Plenty of room in back of console for computer and amplifiers.
Dimensions are: 60" wide, 50" tall, and 33 1/2" front to back. It will fit through a standard door, but you'll most likely have to remove the door.
Two Baldwin H-5 Tone Cabinets with 5 channels each including Low Pass channel for Bass. 10 speakers in each unit. These were included in my acquisition of the organ prior to MIDI conversion. These units include built in 650-watt air cooled amps. RCA jacks on back of units can be used in place of each channel connection, (See pictures). Even though they are 35 years old, they’ve had very little use and are in excellent working condition. Speakers are like new condition. Sale includes 5-amp power unit to turn them on-off. Sound is projected just like a pipe through the front. (bass), sides (manuals) and top (Upper work, and the tweeters can be adjusted for brightness). Very spacial sounding and rich. Pictures show one unit, but they are identical.
