Today I have released my new sampleset of the Kuhn-organ in Sankt Arnual, Saarbruecken (Germany). Please look at the bottom.
The organ was built 1995 in collaboration with the conservatory of Saarbruecken and is used by it for teaching and exams.
The style of the organ is a synthesis of Cliquot and Cavaillé-Coll and so predestined for french organ music.
You can find more information about the instrument here (please click on the photo): https://forestpipes.de/?page_id=336
These are the technical details:
All samples were recorded with four channels at 24 bit / 48 kHz, each tone with long, medium and short attack times. Then a special noise reduction algorithm was used to preserve the harmonics of the samples. These contain up to 6 loops.
All tremulant stops were also sampled.
In order to play the sample set, your computer needs the following minimum RAM requirements:
16 bit stereo compressed 9 GB
16 bit surround compressed 16 GB
24 bit stereo compressed 17 GB
24 bit surround compressed 31 GB
The sample set is encrypted. You need the iLok (TM) dongle to play the set. Also a HW4-version will be available upon request.
In contrebombarde you find several recordings, when you enter "Sankt Arnual" in the search box.
As seen below, here are the three Youtube-links again:
