I've been working for some time on a guide showing a new Hauptwerk CODM programmer how to go about it. It's a lot of information I wish I had known when I first started working on CODM programming! I compiled the information into a PDF document and posted it on my website. Hopefully others looking into doing this will find it useful! You can download it for free at the following:

How to CODM
Re: How to CODM
Thanks very much. There look to be lots of good tips in there.
Best regards, Martin.

Thank you for putting this together. I especially liked your sections on debugging - I have a LOT of experience with this! I have placed this in my "documentation" folder along with the official material from Martin so I can refer to it in the future.

Re: How to CODM
Wow - thank you so much! This is definitely something I want to explore further, and for experienced students of the CODM to share tips like this is invaluable!!!

Re: How to CODM
I've already done lots of custom organs with codm in the last year... completely forgetting the existence of the hauptwerk forum
I've started to make up for lost time reading some posts on the forum, and this is really a good work
Thanks

Re: How to CODM
Thank you very much for this generous contribution, very useful!
I had previously experimented with the CODM wind model parameters without getting good enough results, but now, thanks to your tips, my custom organ "breaths" in a very convincing way.
