It's a Triangle Christmas

Post by ldeutsch »

Everyone,

This post is only marginally related to Hauptwerk. I am a Hauptwerk user and developer. Now to the real topic...

My latest music project was even a surprise to me. I have been holding somewhat regular weekly jam sessions with a small group at our home and each time we meet I try to compose and arrange something new. For our last session of 2024, I decided I would write an original Christmas song. One of our inside jokes in this ensemble is that I like writing drum parts that include a triangle. I guess the triangle is my favorite auxiliary percussion instrument.

I approached the Christmas song from the point of view of all those percussionists who have to play sleigh bells or horses hooves in all their music in this season. The song talks about the advantages of the triangle t make Christmas merrier and brighter.

In any case, I decided to embellish my arrangement for a 10-piece one-person band so I could play all the parts. I worked hard to release this before Christmas so it might make some of your lives even happier!

The video recroding is posted to my YouTube channel:

You can find the sheet music for this on my web site at:

Happy Holidays and have fun!

Dear Les,

I have tried to access the website to download some of your samplesets and view some music, but the whole website seems to be down. What has happened? Is everything all right?

Blessings,
Pavlos

Thank you. I have no idea why none of the computers or browsers I tried yesterday would load the pages...
