Before Christmas I replaced one touch screen. This working well. For Christmas, someone bought me a Launchpad MkII, so now I have 2. All worked first time. I wanted to have the 2 vertically mounted in a homemade mount which I have yet to make. The usb port is on the top side so I shall rotate them through 90 degrees. Still OK but there will be more movements of the relative switch positions when the design is finished. Had a quick play last night on St Annes and all was OK.
This morning it was time to get some good practice in and I loaded Haverhill. (At some stage yesterday I ended up reinstalling most of my organs and I can't remember why.) With regards to hardware, I have a PC with 128GB RAM, 2 Hard disc with 2TB and and M2 soft disc on which all the active Hauptwerk software has been loaded. 2 Launchpads and an homemade midi display completes the system.
I have been running Hauptwerk since version 1 and I feel I know my way around it. At the moment I am on version 8 and plan to go to version 9 when this hardware rearrangement works.
My problem is this. I can only get St Annes to work on the Great Manual. If I mechanically switch the manuals the Great stops then play from the Swell manual. My practice manual is Haverhill. This I can't get any sound out at all. Both these organs show the the keys operating on the screen. I have tested the audio route from windows and get bleeps in the relevant changes.
I feel it could be something in the mixer. I have never understood it and it has been left (not by design) with a setting that on choice 1 lets no sound through, and choice 2 works. But neither of these work now.
Please help.

Re: At best one manual working.
Hello David,
Thanks very much for the interest in upgrading to v9. v9 has a 'simple audio routing' mode, which allows one to configure audio routing in a way that is sufficiently flexible for what 99% of people need, whilst being extremely quick and easy to use and understand. (Unless you have more than 32 speakers, it will probably do everything you need.)
Hence if you were to upgrade to v9 you could potentially use that, avoiding the need to use or learn the full mixer's capabilities, so my recommendation would be upgrade to v9 first.

Re: At best one manual working.
When a supplier says our new product will help to solve your problem, I am very scepetical. In this case it has turned out to be true. HW9 offers to turn off facilities that you don't use, so I turned off the mixer and all was OK. Thanks Martin.
However, it does look like that some of the work that my lauchpads do can be done with a screen display as well as the LCD displays that I have built. The organist might be redundant next.
